The power of mental enrichment is often misunderstood or overlooked by pet parents. Dogs see the world through their noses and allowing your dogs the time to sniff and use their senses can vastly improve their wellbeing. 20 minutes of sniffing is the equivalent to an hours walk!
The Village Enrichment room/ garden
Our first location- 8 The Boulevard, Hazel Grove, SK7 5PA.
The theme of this room is “The Village”. You and your dog will have exclusive access to our indoor and outdoor areas. Our room & courtyard are bursting with natural scents, activities and puzzles which encourage your dogs to switch off and tune into their natural instincts.

Is it suitable for my dog?
Our rooms are designed for dogs of all sizes, breeds, age and abilities. We also offer sessions specifically for reactive/anxious dogs. Our team are always on hand at info@sensorypaws.co.uk to answer any queries you may have.

How many dogs can attend the session?
Our rooms are designed for one dog at a time to enjoy the session. However, we do understand that you may have more than one doggie. We can accommodate up to 4 dogs as long as they are from the same household. You’ll need to add the number of dogs when booking.

What happens in the session?
All our rooms are bursting with scents, sensory activities for your dogs to enjoy. Simply unclip them and let them explore. Each room has over 50 hiding places for treats, toys or your own specific scents. During your session you can use the hiding places, however, your dogs can still enjoy all the benefits of the rooms without if you wish.

What happens if my dog breaks something?
We understand accidents happen so please do not worry if there are any damages during your session. We do ask you text/ call the emergency number to report any damages to ensure the safety of all our guests. We do ask that you discourage your dog from chewing/scratching to avoid any damages.

How long are the sessions?
Our sessions can be booked for 30 or 45 minutes.

How big is the enrichment room?
Our enrichment rooms are designed to be small, in order to enable dogs to focus on their natural forging instincts and limit physical exercise. Our rooms are a mental work out rather than a physical , which is perfect for dogs who are on restricted exercise, have arthritis or a puppy.
